Chapter 12

I was reminded of the time Sienna told me she had more surprises for me about her holding back in bed when I woke up to the most incredible feeling. Her mouth was doing things to me that I couldn’t actually visualize. She also had a finger in my ass and was using her other hand to play with my balls.

I replied, “I’m more than okay with it, I felt a little weird about it last night, splitting up like that, but I figured I needed to talk to you first.”

Apparently this was the right thing to say because she kissed me soft and lingeringly before pulling away. We got dressed and went outside. It was later than we would usually be going so we had a quick cold breakfast and broke down the tents. It was also the first morning I hadn’t watched Ari’s sword dance training and I decided I didn’t want to miss that again.

The late night didn’t make a good excuse in my mind.

It felt a little strange giving Ari a good morning kiss in front of Sienna, it would take time to get used to the changes made in our trio last night.

That didn’t mean I wasn’t in an unbelievably good mood, either of them by themselves was a treasure, to be with both seemed almost unreal for the moment.

I had my detections working as we went down the road as usual. We all were a little more wary, expecting something to happen soon. Of course, that was based on conjecture and guess work, for all we knew the only plotter lay dead and we had built it all up in our minds. But I really didn’t believe that.

Trouble didn’t come until early afternoon, and when it did it wasn’t the trouble we had been expecting.
